There are many types of flue gas dust removal facilities, which can be classified into various categories. It is usually classified according to the mechanism of trapping and separating dust particles, such as gravity, inertial force, centrifugal force, Coulomb force, thermal force, and diffusion force. Various dust removal facilities can be classified into four categories.
1.Mechanical dust collector
Generally acting in the dust collector, the force of the dust-containing gas is gravity, inertial force and centrifugal force. This type of dust collector can be divided into:
(1) Gravity dust removal facility-gravity settlement chamber;
(2) Inertial force dust removal facility-inertial dust collector (also called inertial separator)
(3) Centrifugal dust removal facility-cyclone dust collector (also known as centrifugal separator)
2. Wet dust collector (also known as wet scrubber)
Wet dust collector is a dust removal facility that uses water or other liquids as a medium to capture dust particles. According to the level of energy consumption:
(1) Low-energy wet dust collector-spray tower, water film dust removal, etc .;
(2) High-energy wet dust collector-Venturi dust collector.
There are also other classification methods for wet dust collectors, which are not repeated here.
3.Filter type dust collector
Filter type dust collector is a dust removal facility that realizes gas-solid separation by the action of inertia collision, diffusion, retention, and sieve plugging between dust-containing gas and filter medium. The different filter media and structural forms used in root can be divided into:
(1) Bag type dust collector (also known as bag dust collector);
(2) Particle layer dust collector, etc .;
4.Electric dust collector
The electrostatic precipitator, which uses the electrostatic force generated by the high-voltage electric field to separate dust from the air stream, is called an electrostatic precipitator, which is referred to as an electrostatic precipitator. According to the structural characteristics of the electrostatic precipitator, there are many types of classification. Here we only list the classification according to the type of dust collection:
(1) Tube type electrostatic precipitator;
(2) Plate electrostatic precipitator.
In fact, in one type of dust collector, several types of dust removal mechanisms are often used at the same time, so the general case is named according to the main mechanism. In addition, whether the water or other liquid is used in the dust removal process, the dust collector can be divided into two types, dry and wet. Facilities that use water or liquid to moisten the dust (solid particles) in the dust-laden gas or the captured dust are called wet dust collectors; the facilities that do not wet the dust in the gas are called dry dust collectors.
In recent years, in order to improve the non-trapping efficiency of particles, a variety of new types of dust collectors have emerged that integrate several types of dust removal mechanisms, such as acoustic condensers, thermal condensers, flow capacity / condensation scrubbers (referred to as FF / C washing Device), high gradient impact separator, charged droplet washer and electric tube.
